Today our participants depart from various points in the USA and fly to Munich, Germany to join our tour the following morning. We recommend that you fly perhaps a day earlier and rest up before our journey. Call us for best air fare (book early) and accommodations prior to or after the tour.

Day 1 Friday Sept. 4
Morning departure from Munich's International Airport. After all of our participants are accounted for, we will leave by mid- morning from outside of Terminal 1, Concourse C on our deluxe "BEER" coach. We will travel through the Bavarian countryside through Kempten and villages in the Allgau Alps. There will be time for optional lunch and to marvel at the beautiful mountains around us. From there we will cross then into Austria and further into Switzerland. After travelling along the picturesque Lake Constance we will arrive by late afternoon at our hotel for the next 2 nights at the Swiss lake village of Berlingen. Here we will have our welcome party, dinner and overnight stay. D

Day 2, Saturday, Sept. 5
After a lavish breakfast we will leave early next morning to journey into the Swiss mountain region of Appenzell and visit this colorful village with its many historic hand painted buildings. At noon time we will travel further west and visit the mighty Rhine Waterfalls. From there it is only a short journey along the Upper River Rhine to the medieval Swiss town of Stein am Rhein. We will spend the afternoon exploring and have time for an optional dinner before returning to our hotel in Berlingen for overnight. B

Day 3, Sunday, Sept. 6
Today is another exciting day as we journey from Berlingen to Switzerland's most picturesque town of Lucerne. We will explore the city on the lake, including the wooden "Kapell Bridge", the historic inner city and the Lion Monument. If time permits you may take an optional afternoon lake cruise. We will have dinner in town and stay for 2 nights in our hotel by the lake. BD

Day 4, Monday, Sept. 7
After our lavish breakfast we tour with our coach the majestic Swiss Alps. We will journey across high Alpine passes, enjoying the sights of colorful mountain villages, lush green meadows and trees with early fall colors and snowy mountains. By noon time we will visit the area just below the famous Eiger and Jungfrau Mountains and have time for an optional cable car or rack-train up the mountain for a grand view of the Swiss Alps. In late afternoon we will journey back via a different route to our overnight destination in Lucerne. Tonight there is dinner on your own, perhaps choose one of the typical restaurants and try a favorite local Swiss dish. B

Day 5, Tuesday, Sept. 8
This morning we will leave our hotel early for an all day drive to our next destination in the Austrian Alps. By midmorning we will stop at the tiny principality of Liechtenstein for a visit then travel further across high mountain passes and valleys with breathtaking scenery to the ritzy resort village of Seefeld in the Tyrol. There will be time for exploring this lovely former Winter Olympic site, either before or after dinner. We will spend the next 2 nights at our four star hotel in the center of the village. BD

Day 6, Wednesday, Sept. 9
After breakfast, there will be a free morning for everyone. Perhaps have a short walk to the famous "Seekirchl" Chapel in the meadows outside the village or take a rack-train up the nearby mountain for great scenery overlooking the Austrian and Bavarian Alps. In the afternoon we will offer an optional ($10.00) coach tour to the famous Bavarian village of Mittenwald for sightseeing and shopping. We will return by early evening to Seefeld. Tonight dining is on your own. B

Day 7, Thursday, Sept. 10
Today is a highlight of our travel days again as we leave Seefeld by morning. We will be bypassing Tyrol's capital Innsbruck to soon arrive in Jenbach, where we will board an authentic historic steam engine train for a nostalgic scenic ride through Tyrol's famous Zillertal valley. From there we will be travelling up the Gerlos Pass and visit Europe's highest "Krimml" waterfall. We will arrive early evening at our next destination, Zell am See. Dinner, over-night at our hotel in the village. BD

Day 8, Friday, Sept. 11
This morning there is time for a walk through the village, last minute gift shopping and maybe time for a boat ride around the Lake Zell. Also there is the weekly local farmer's market with entertainment in the front of our hotel. In the early afternoon we will offer an optional scenic tour into the Salzburg National Park for a cable car ride into the nearby Glacier Region. Early evening we will head back to our hotel in Zell am See for dinner and overnight. BD

Day 9, Saturday, Sept. 12
Today on our last day of touring, we will leave the Austrian Alps and travel along the high hills of Upper Bavaria to its capital city of Munich. After checking into our four star hotel in the city center we will have our farewell dinner with Folklore and Music at Munich's famous Hofbrauhaus Restaurant. BD

Day 10, Sunday, Sept. 13
Early morning transfer to Munich's Airport for our return flight home. Sadly we say good bye "Auf Wiedersehn" - to our new friends and the beautiful Alpine Countries we must leave behind. B

Friday, June 11
Overnight flight from your home town in the USA to Frankfurt's International Airport in Germany. (We recommend that you possibly travel a day earlier and rest up before our tour, which departs mid-morning on Saturday, June 12, 2010. We will gladly make air and pre and post reservations for you at a hotel close to Frankfurt's Airport or in the city.

Day 1 Saturday, June 12, 2010
By mid-morning our tour will depart from Frankfurt's International Airport Terminal 2 (just outside the arrival hall building) with our luxury "BEER" Company coach. We will travel south on Germany's Autobahn up the Rhine River Valley and into the scenic Black Forest highway. The Black Forest region in the Southwestern part of Germany is covered with fir trees and has romantic villages famous for farmhouses with straw thatched roofs, woodcarvings and cuckoo clock factories. After a typical light lunch we will travel on to our final destination, a romantic farm house 4 -star hotel near Lake Titisee. Here we will have our Welcome Party, dinner and overnight stay for the next 2 nights. LD

Day 2 Sunday, June 13
After a lavish breakfast buffet, we will leisurely tour the scenic Black Forest area with stops at Triberg, Germany's highest waterfall, the Black Forest Clock Museum and at the romantic Lake Titisee. Be sure you taste the famous Black Forest cake or perhaps purchase for a later snack, the delicious Black Forest Ham. This evening, dinner is on your own. Overnight in our local hotel. B

Day 3 Monday, June 14
Today we will leave for an all day trip into Switzerland with a stop at the magnificent Rhine Waterfalls on the Swiss border. We will travel further on to historic Stein am Rhein, a walled medieval Swiss town with colorful hand painted houses from the 14th Century. We will have plenty of time for exploring and an optional lunch before travelling to our next destination, the Swiss Alpine village of Appenzell for our next 2 nights' stay. Dinner and overnight at the Romantic Hotel Saentis on the historic town square. BD

Day 4 Tuesday, June 15
By mid-morning we will tour the Swiss Alpine countryside with an optional cable car trip to one of the nearby mountains and later visit a Swiss cheese making factory. We will return by early evening to Appenzell, so perhaps you will have a chance for more exploring and to have dinner on your own in one of the many local specialty restaurants. Overnight at Hotel Saentis. B

Day 5 Wednesday, June 16
After our breakfast buffet we will leave for an exciting all day trip through the Eastern Alps of Switzerland with a stop at the tiny principality of Liechtenstein. From there we travel over high mountain passes in the Austrian Alps with many scenic stops to our next destination, Fuessen in the Bavarian Alps. We will stay in this quaint city for the next 3 nights with dinner this evening at our 4 star hotel. BD

Day 6 Thursday, June 17
Today we will visit and tour the nearby King Ludwig's Fairytale Castle "Neuschwanstein" and have time later in the afternoon for shopping and exploring the magical village of Fuessen. Dinner is optional tonight. B

Day 7 Friday, June 18, 2010
Today is the highlight of our tour. After breakfast, we will leave our Fuessen Hotel early in the morning and our first stop will be the famous "WIES" Pilgrimage Church, an exquisite rococo structure and UNESCO World Heritage site.
The highlight today will be attending this year's "Passion Play" in the village of Oberammergau. The Black Plague of 1632 miraculously stopped short of this Bavarian village and from thence forth, the town's people vowed to enact the passion of Jesus every ten years involving the local citizens in the elaborate all afternoon and evening performance. Our seats are reserved as well as lunch and dinner during the intermission of the Passion Play. There will be also time for some sightseeing before lunch. We will return by coach late in the evening to our hotel in Fuessen. BLD

Day 8 Saturday, June 19
This morning we will journey to Bavaria's capital of Munich and have the afternoon free for last minute gift shopping in the center of the city. In the evening we will have our farewell dinner with entertainment at Munich's famous Hofbrauhaus before retiring at our 4-star hotel near the main railway station. BD

Day 9 Sunday, June 20
In the morning we will transfer everyone to Munich's International Airport for return flights home. Sadly we say "Auf Wiedersehn" and leave the beautiful Alpine countries behind us, but we will return home with lots of new friends and unforgettable memories. B

Friday, September 3, 2010
Overnight flight from your home town in the USA to Munich's International Airport in Germany. (We recommend that you possibly travel a day earlier and rest up before our tour, which departs mid-morning on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010. Day 1 Saturday, September 4, 2010
By mid-morning our tour will depart from Munich's International Airport Terminal 1 Concourse C on our luxury "BEER" Company coach. We will travel east through the Bavarian countryside to the city of Passau. There we will have lunch on the banks of the River Danube. In the afternoon we will have a walking tour through the Old Town of Passau which will include visiting the Cathedral, which has the world's largest pipe organ. There will also be time for some more sightseeing, shopping or perhaps to visit the famous Crystal Museum before leaving Passau for the short drive to our evening destination, Regensburg. After check-in at our local 4-star hotel, we will have our welcome party and dinner at the hotel. LD

Day 2 Sunday, September 5
After a lavish breakfast buffet take time to explore Regensburg on your own. Regensburg has many interesting specialty shops and medieval style buildings from centuries gone by. At noon time we will travel by our coach to Kehlheim and from there cruise one of the most scenic areas on the upper Danube River through a gorge to the Abbey of Weltenburg. The abbey has a popular beer garden that serves the gold medal dark beer which is brewed on the premises. In the late afternoon we will return by coach to Regensburg and our hotel. This evening dinner is on your own; perhaps visit one of the many local taverns including the world's oldest sausage kitchen restaurant. Overnight in our Regensburg hotel. B

Day 3 Monday, September 6
In the early morning we will depart for an all day trip South through the Bavarian countryside with a stop at "Braunau am Inn" which is one of the oldest Austrian towns located just across from the Bavarian border. We will have time to stroll through the city, have an optional lunch and then travel further for an afternoon stop in Salzburg, the "Mozart City". We will begin in the Mirabell Gardens and will walk into the Inner City and take time to marvel at the fortress high above the city as well as do some sightseeing in the Old Town before returning to our coach by late afternoon. By early evening we will arrive at our Berchtesgaden hotel in the Bavarian Alps for dinner and overnight. BD

Day 4 Tuesday, September 7
This morning will be free to explore Berchtesgaden just footsteps from our hotel and by early afternoon we will journey by coach to visit "Lake Konigsee" amidst the high Bavarian Mountains. Take the free time for an optional boat ride or shop at some of the many souvenir and alpine clothing stores at the lake side. In the afternoon we will travel the high Alpine Road with scenic stops along the way to view the awe-inspiring Bavarian and Austrian Alps which surround us. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Berchtesgaden. BD

Day 5 Wednesday, September 8
After our breakfast buffet we will leave for an all day trip into the Tyrolean Alps with an exciting steam engine cogwheel train ride from the Inn Valley up to Lake Achensee. There you have time for an optional lunch before we return to the Inn valley for our afternoon stop at the world famous "Swarovski Crystal Museum/ Factory and shop in Wattens. We will continue on to Tyrol's capital, Innsbruck, for dinner and overnight stay at our 4 star hotel. BD

Day 6 Thursday, September 9
Today the day is all yours. We recommend that you explore the Old Inner City of Innsbruck, visit the Hofburg Castle and Church as well as the folk museum near our hotel and perhaps have lunch at the ski jump tower overlooking the city and the surrounding mountains. Our VIP tour host will guide an optional cable car ride from the center of city to the top of the Hafelekar and Seegrube for a grand view of the surrounding Alps. This evening dinner is on your own. Overnight in our Innsbruck hotel. B

Day 7 Friday, September 10, 2010
Today will be an exciting day, the day everyone has been waiting for! After breakfast, we will leave our Innsbruck Hotel early in the morning and our first stop will be at the famous "Ettal" Church, a marvelous rococo structure near Oberammergau which was modeled after St. Peter's Cathedral in Rome.
The highlight today will be attending this year's "Passion Play" in the village of Oberammergau.
